Midi: is a language that allows musical instruments, computers to communicate. also MIDI can be a specification for a set of codes for transmitting music control and timing information. and for the hardware, the codes are being transmitted. MIDI is a set of instructions that machines use to speak. MIDI carries audio signals, like the pitch, also has control signals for the volume. Daw and Mid similarity: MIDI controllers can be physical instantiations of functionality present in the daw. The daw user can interact by using a keyboard and mouse and MIDI controllers. Reaper is a digital audio workstation software, a complete multi track audio and MIDI recording, editing, processing, mixing, and mastering environment. How both can be used to make music: MIDI and daw is used in music by using instruments and sounds. MIDI is used to record songs that can be played back on any electronic music by using a device connected to an instrument. MIDI is the only standard electronic musical instrument also computers, software, and other digital controllers share information. daw is used for music it is being used to edit, mix and record music. you can also create sound effects and add tracks.
